But what about buying a used Mini Cooper? Well, the great thing about the Mini Cooper is that it is affordable right from the start. The average price of a new Mini is only about eighteen thousand pounds. However, the used car buyer should be aware that Mini Coopers retain their value exceptionally well. In fact, they have some of the highest resale values of any car in their class.

So, if you plan to buy a used Mini Copper, you should expect to pay about half of the list cost for a car that is five years old.
